We accept a wide range of insurance providers at River Road Family Dental. Our team is here to guide you through the claims process and answer any questions so you can focus on your smile without the stress.
Payment Options
We accept a variety of payment methods to ensure convenience for our patients. Full payment is requested at the time of service, and we’re happy to provide an estimate of charges prior to your appointment. Accepted payment methods include:

Insurance Accepted
Your insurance policy is a private agreement between you and your insurance provider, but we’re here to help you understand your coverage. We’ll assist with any necessary paperwork, including sending predeterminations when needed. Please note that co-payments are due at the time of service, and any uninsured treatment costs are due as services are rendered. Our team is available to answer any questions you may have about insurance and to guide you through the process.
Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
As part of our commitment to accessible dental care, River Road Family Dental proudly accepts the new Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a government initiative aimed at expanding access to dental care for millions of Canadians who currently lack insurance. Set to roll out in phases starting with seniors, this program will eventually cover eligible Canadians of all ages, providing critical dental services like exams, cleanings, fillings, and dentures. To qualify, applicants must be Canadian residents with an annual income below ninety thousand dollars and without existing dental insurance.

As of June 27. 2024 children under the age of 18, adults over the age of 65, and people aged 18-64 with a valid disability tax credit are eligible.
Canadians of all ages with an annual adjusted family income of less than $90,000 will be eligible sometime in 2025.For more information, visit Canada’s Care Plan.

Coverage includes but is not limited to the following common oral health services:
Dental diagnostic services including examinations and X-rays
Preventative dental services including professional cleaning, scaling, sealants, polishing, fluoride treatments and more
Periodontic services such as scaling
Endodontic treatment including root canal procedures
Minor oral surgery including tooth extractions
Prosthodontic services including full and partial dentures
Restorative dentistry including fillings
Orthodontics (coming in 2025)
